Profiles of possible collaborators

The project is open for collaborators who should get inscribed on this page at Medialab Prado. We also made a post at the forum to explain the project to possible collaborators.

Basically we are interested in people with the following profiles:

• Sociologists, economists, finance and legal students/experts: We have to investigate the legal issue of what kind of information we are allowed to publish, especially if it is possible to publish information on the owner of a sad house, access to the registration of property, and so on. In addition we must create a network of contacts with social movements and sociologists working in the field of speculation and the housing problem.
• Server programmers: Above all, it would be fine to work with an expert in server programming either PHP (which we also handle) or django.
• Web programmers /Interaction designers: We are investigating AJAX/Javascript libraries to create a web2.0 kind of application. People who have worked with libraries like prototype, script.aculo.us, openrico, dojo or similar are welcome to collaborate.
• Specialist in openstreetmap: Additionally to Google Maps we want to make the system compatible to openstreetmap.
• Video editor (with own equipment): The key to the project's success depends on the amount of use that people make of this tool. For this we want to produce a video for spreading the project explaining the idea and a video tutorial to explain how to use the web and upload new empty houses.
